Subject: Winners - Edmonton
Each of the Kitten winners ran the course in a time less than the
previous Kitten Course Record of 30 seconds! The Aby adult
(Violetta) also went under 30 seconds but not in officially timed
runs.
76 cats tried the agility course, most of them for the first time. Here are the results:
KITTENS
1st Place - Gunner, Singapura, owned/handled by Carlas Smith, :22,
Clean Run
(22 seconds is a new Kitten course record, previously 30 seconds!)
2nd Place - Wind Dancer, Bengal, owned by Pamela Languin, :23, Clean Run
3rd Place - Crystal, Bengal, owned by Pam Gutzinger, :24, Clean Run
ADULTS
1st Place - Killi, Ocicat, owned by Poppy & Roy, handled by Roy, :58, Clean Run (Killi got a second Clean Run on Sunday, and now has 4, fast approaching the 9 required for his Basic Agility Cat title)
2nd Place - Violetta, Abyssinian, owned/handled by Evelyn Grado-
Wolynies, 1:44, Clean Run (her first run, the only one timed)
Congratulations to all the cats and owners who ran the course, especially in the very competitive Kitten class! Trophies and Olympic-style medallions were presented to the winners, and a photo of the new record holder, Gunner, will be on our website in a couple of weeks.
