Subject: Denver -- the first Clean Runs, and first Winners!
Congratulations to Sue Riley and Brat, her 5 year old Ocicat! Brat
earned the first ever Clean Run ribbon, and was the 1st Place Basic
Level winner in Denver, with a time of 1:18.
The course is scored Faults, then Time, so slow, accurate runs will beat fast, sloppy ones.
Here is a list of the winners and their times:
ADULTS, Basic Level:
1st Place:
Brat (short for Spoiled Brat), O/H Sue Riley, 1:18, clean run2nd Place:
Diamond, a Burmese, O/H Carol Grossman, 2:58 (3 minutes is the limit, this was a slow but accurate tour of the course), clean run
KITTENS -
1st Place:
Calamity Jane, O/H Judi Gaither, :30 (a very speedy run!)2nd Place:
Selene, an Ocicate, O/H Sue Riley, :413rd Place:
Deemeek, O/H Judy Bender, 48 (notice how even the slowest winner kitten was faster than the fastest adult; the kittens were terrific in Denver, and a lot of fun to watch)
Both Brat and Diamond have one Clean Run each, and are on their way to earning their Basic Agility Cat title!
No cat has earned an Agility Cat title yet. Who will become the first in ICAT history?
