Subject: Deland ICAT Results

Congratulations to the ICAT winners at the Tropical Cats show in Deland, FL, August 21-22! This was the first ICAT event at a CFA show, and the exhibitors, cats and spectators loved cat agility just as much as they do everywhere else!

There was another good variety of cats, a Household Pet, Oriental Shorthair and Maine Coon took the top honors.

CATS:

Basic Course:

1st Place: NEMO, brown tabby Household Pet, owner/handler Geri Cupo,
1 Fault, 1:18. Nemo is 9.5 years old.

2nd Place: JOEY, a chestnug mackrel tabby Oriental Shorthair, owned
by Chuck & Bonnie Searles & Terri Zettler, and handled by Terri, 2
faults, 1:35

3rd Place: MOJO the black smoke Maine Coon, owned and handled by
Tylene Mackay, 2 faults and a fast and frisky :28 time.

KITTENS:
(we didn't do kittens for time, they just practiced)

Last weekend was a historic one for ICAT, it is the first weekend we have had two shows simultaneously, in Portland at the TICA show of The New Culture Club, and in Deland at the CFA show of Tropical Cats.
